GTE (Gran Turismo Endurance) was an FIA-regulated class for near-production sports cars competing at Le Mans and in the WEC, split into GTE Pro (factory-entered) and GTE Am (privateer) subclasses. The class was phased out of the WEC's top events after 2022, replaced by GT3 machinery from 2024 onwards. GTE continues in the European Le Mans Series and Asian Le Mans Series under the LMGTE designation.
