LMDh

LMDh (Le Mans Daytona h) is a hybrid prototype class introduced in 2023 to run concurrently with the FIA Hypercar class at Le Mans and in IMSA. Teams use one of four approved LMP2-derived chassis — Oreca, Ligier, Multimatic, and Dallara — mated to a manufacturer-supplied hybrid system and branded bodywork. LMDh allows marques such as Porsche, BMW, Acura, Lamborghini, and Cadillac to field factory-branded cars in top-tier endurance racing at a controlled cost.
